Ram Clear
The RAM Clear mode of operation is independent of any other mode, and serves as the only means of preparing the system for Initial Configuration mode.
Perform a RAM Clear

Atlas: For initial setup, the game needs to power up with the System CF installed until the game shows a 12.10 or Fatal File Error Problem reading Jurisdiction.xml.
Atlas 3D: Ram Clear the game first. There is no error indicating the Jurisdictional file is missing until you have completed setup. If the game is not Ram Cleared first the game will show 12.10 and require a Ram Clear.
Power the Game Off.
Open the main door, and then the Logic door.
Remove the System CF and Insert the RAM Clear CF module into the System CF Module slot.
Power the game on and it will go through the RAM clear process.
When the CPU Fan shuts off the RAM Clear is done.
Shut down the game after it finishes the RAM Clear process.
Remove the RAM Clear CF and Insert the System CF module.
Power the game on and continue with the initial configuration.

Perform a Ram Clear Class 2
There is no Ram Clear Module for Class 2. To perform a Ram Clear call 1877-358-6300 and let AGS Technical Assistance know which cabinet is requiring a Ram Clear.
Yes there is a Ram Clear button in the Control Menu. We have always been told not to use it and to call in for assistance.
