No special server version is required. The KGM software knows how to talk to the server for basic things like asking for a ball draw. The server will need to be set to allow for a single player or you will need to connect a second cabinet. The second cabinet doesn’t have to be a KGM cabinet. The KGM games are participating with our games on the same ball draws, so one of our cabinets can be the second player for quorum. The server doesn’t have to be on the internet. The KGM cabinet that we have just talks to one of the ball draw servers in the SQA lab that is used for testing our class 2 games.
