** Pre-Install inspection **

Having a video card that is compatible with the LCD button is critical in the success of the operation. To determine if your existing video card is compatible, pre-inspect the cabinets for conversion to see if you need to order a new replacement card if yours are not compatible.

Warning

Rule of thumb: if your existing card has a spare, unused, FULL-SIZED HDMI port; you should be good. Anything else will not be compatible.

conversion Process:

Using an AGS white barrel key (or location’s key if applicable) remove the button deck access door located under the deck.

Unfasten x3 thumb screws (use #2 Phillip’s if overtight)

Using an 11/32 driver, loosen the support clips on each front- corner of the assembly.

Slide Button deck out of frame and lift backside to remove both power and USB comm from PDM board, and remove deck from cabinet.

Remove old PDM power harness from PIOM, and tuck both ends into cable management out of the way.

Install HDMI and USB – A to Micro B cables in Video Card and Logic, and route to button deck area following existing path.

Should have x4 cables in Button Deck area now: 1 – HDMI for deck video, 1 – Micro-USB for deck touch, 1 – existing USB for PDM3 Comm, 1 – 4-pin Molex

Install LCD button deck assembly – Easiest method: With Main door open, start from Right-side of cabinet frame, and work assembly left-and-down (under main door) to seat into place.

Once deck is seated into place, pull forward towards bolster to close the gap between bolster and deck.

Fasten LCD button deck using x3 – thumbscrews.
