Perform a RAM Clear Class 3

Atlas: For initial setup, the game needs to power up with the System CF installed until the game shows a Fatal File Error Problem reading Jurisdiction.xml.

Atlas 3D: Ram Clear the game first. There is no error indicating the Jurisdictional file is missing until you have completed setup. If the game is not Ram Cleared first the game will show 12.10 and require a Ram Clear.

  1. Power the Game Off.

  2. Open the main door, and then the Logic door.

  3. Remove the System CF and Insert the RAM Clear CF module into the System CF Module slot.

  4. Power the game on and it will go through the RAM clear process.

  5. When the CPU Fan shuts off or you cannot hear anything happening in the logic box, the RAM Clear is done.

  6. Turn the cabinet off after it finishes the RAM Clear process.

  7. Remove the RAM Clear CF and Insert the System CF module.

  8. Power the game on and continue with the initial configuration.

Perform a Ram Clear Class 2

Class II Ram Clear should not be done by the technician through the menu as it does not perform Ram Clear.  If the cabinet is needed to Ram Clear, please call Technical Assistance at 1(877) 358-6300 to perform Ram Clear.
