Instructions addendum:

After a PAX upgrade to 2.3, look at the Current Deck Menu in the User Menu to ensure the most recent deck in use is selected.

There have been a couple sites with the selection revert to the initial deck it was set up with… meaning there was more than one deck in the library.

If the casino has moved to a second brand and/or type of cards, the reversion to the original on the list during the software upgrade will cause the shuffler to not work properly- the machine will be looking for Deck A when Deck B is in use.

This would only arise at casinos which changed their card type after installing PAX.  To be safe, we should have every PAX looked at as it only takes a moment.

Significant Features

  • New games

    • 3 Card Catch

    • Added 9 handed generic games with 2, 3, and 5 cards per packet.

    • Added 8 player versions of MS Stud, Let It Ride, and Four Card Poker.

  • The display shows the Pax Logo and is no longer blank during normal operation.

  • Configuration Import / Export to setup one Pax Shuffler and transfer settings to additional
    shufflers.

  • The shuttle position values have been corrected for the community cards positions. We no longer
need to compensate by subtracting calibration numbers after aligning.

  • On power up, the shuttle performs an additional homing sequence to find a consistent homing position. We no longer need to test the shuttle home sensor multiple times.

  • Sensor and Motor Diagnostics have been added the Maintenance, Machine Control menu.
