Fatal Error! Application is not in Sync with the server

The intent of this error is to inform the user that the current game state of the Table does not match that Gaming Table’s game state on the server. The most common causes and resolutions for this error are listed below:

 Invalid game operation – The most common cause of this error is from an invalid sequence of events during game play. Attempts to cancel a round while a spot has been marked for a jackpot (A dealer marks a betting spot with an ‘Ace’ then presses the “Cancel Round” button without clearing the marked spot) will cause this error.
This scenario is typically accompanied by a log in the server’s exception log that says “cannot cancel a round with active bets.”
Resolution: Just tapping the “OK” button will return the user to the AGS splash screen on the dealer monitor. Tapping the AGS splash screen should return the user to a log in prompt. Once the user has logged back in, the table will return to its most recent valid game state (active round with spot still marked as ‘Ace’). If the round is invalid and needs to be canceled, the dealer will need to clear the marked spot prior to cancelling the round. If the round is valid, continue to process the round as normal.

 

Network interruption – Each game state change at the table (round start, spot marked, wheel enabled, etc..) will be acknowledged by the server prior to the table moving to the next game state. A faulty network connection could allow a table to progress to the next game state without the server receiving the message. The next game state that requires acknowledgement from the server will cause this error. Example: dealer starts a round and marks a spot for jackpot. The server doesn’t acknowledge the marked spot, and when the dealer attempts to ‘proceed to spin’, the server will throw this error.
This scenario is usually accompanied by server disconnect errors or table offline logs into the system activity log.
