Progressive Pool Creation Steps

The preferred way to make progressive pools is to use the Auto Config feature.

Pool Types

Currently there are two ways to create progressive pools manually.

1. Create “new pool”

   1. LC/themes that use DO not use server readable progressive configuration file

2. Create “new pool group”

   1. LC/themes that use a server readable progressive configuration file.

They are used for different reasons and different game types.

How to determine which option to create pools

• Using the PAR sheet for the LC/Theme find the paytable name.

• Here are two examples

• Open

• Once the paytable name is know we can create the correct pool type.

• If the paytable name format is in the format PTxxxx.tgz where xxxx is the paytable number (first example)

  • The progressive pool type is a “Progressive Pool Group”

  • Use "Create Progressive Pool Group” for creating pools

• If the paytable name format is NOT in the format xxxx.tgz (second example)

  • The progressive pool type is a standard “Progressive Pool”

  • Use “Create Progressive Pool" to create pools

Create-Progressive-Pool-Group

1. Open Progressive Manger

2. Click on Manage Pools

3. After Manage pools opens click on the Progressive Pool dropdown

4. Then select Add New Pool Group

5. The dialog should update to have the following dropdowns

6. Update the Legal Configuration, Progressive Configuration, Pool ID and Supported EPS Configurations

7. After selecting the options any EPSs that are available for this setup will show up in the Available EPS box.

8. Simply move the desired EPS to the right.

9. Update any Contribution rates or progressive cap as needed.

   1. Note that based on the options selected by game design not all options will be changeable.

10. Click Save Pool Group

11. All the needed pools for this pool group for the EPSs have been created

12. Close the Pool Management Dialog

13. This will return you to the main Progressive Manager screen.

Create-Progressive-Pool

1. Open Progressive Manger

2. Click on Manage Pools

3. After Manage pools opens click on the Progressive Pool dropdown

5. Then select Add New Pool Group

6. The Add a New Progressive Pool Dialog will pop up

8. Enter the name of the desired pool

9. Click Add

10. Click on the Progressive drop down and select the PID, Max Bet, Denom, Base amount that is desired

12. I selected PID 265 Max bet 200, Denom 1, Base amount 500000

14. After selecting the appropriate box in the dropdown any EPSs that are available for this setup will show up in the Available EPS box.

15. Simply move the desired EPS to the right.

16. Update any Contribution rates or progressive cap as needed.

17. Click Save Changes

19. The pool the EPSs have been created

20. Close the Pool Management Dialog

21. This will return you to the main Progressive Manager screen.
