Raptor Board RAM Backup
You need to have Global6 installed on the server (or the Mini-Ethan software).
Open Global6 and open the Mini-Ethan software (or open directly the Mini-Ethan software).
You will need to have the IP and the MAC address of the machine. The tech should give you at least the machine's IP OR the MAC. To find the associated IP/MAC address of this machine, you can look at it in the DHCP manager and try to find it.
In the Mini-Ethan software, click on the IP Manager TAB and click on Add New ..
You will need to enter the VGM informations : IP Address / MAC Address / Description
After, you will have to click on the Project TAB and you will have to select Read Ram Backup in the Action To Do menu. Be careful and don't select Write !
Click IN THE SEND OR NOT COLUMN THAT CORRESPOND TO THE MACHINE (you will get a green check mark in the Send or Not column related to your machine)
Click Start to retrive the RAM backup from the raptor board.
When done, you can exit the Mini-Ethan application.
If you have used the Global6 applicaton and you're going to close the application, you will be prompted if you want to delete the temp files: You will have to select KEEP! Otherwise you will loose your RAM backup.
You will find your new RAM backup in My Documents\My Global6.
