All themes for the Spectra cabinets are supposed to have the topper content on the SSD so the topper will run with the on-board video port.

Sometimes the toppercontent doesn’t show on the topper. |

What to do when the topper does not work:

Replace the display-port cable C54-00043 DP Cable |
New update Jan 22-2024 we have had success using a different cable from the onboard port to the topper. The cable will work when plugged into the video card but not when plugged into onboard. Replace the display-port cable.
Reboot a couple times. Notice the topper doesn't like to load after a ram clear some times. Its hit or miss. Just keep rebooting.
Note from the field: I had a couple new Spectra games that I’ve had a issue with content loading to the topper. This was after a reboot and a ram clear. “I found after a couple reboot if it still doesn’t load just turn the game off pull the power plug from the power supply count to 10 plug it back in and power up comes on ever time.”
Try the top port instead of the bottom one.
Plug the Topper Display-port cable in to the video card in place of the main monitor and see it anything shows up. Might have a disconnected or bad cable.
No idea why this worked a couple times now but…….Plug the topper into the Button deck port on the video card and the Button deck cable into onboard video to display the topper (reboot). This is a test to see if the onboard still works just not with the topper monitor. If this works, shutdown and swap back to see if it resolves the issue.
Order new logic box.

Programming file (*.bin)
On the target laptop plug one end of the USB and the other in the MStar tool.
Connect VGA cable from MStar Tool to Monitor (Monitor must be powered on)
Run ISPTool.exe
If the application does not open when you try to run it: Run Taskmanager and then open the application. Dont know why its a thing, but its a thing.Check "Use USB" and "Auto release USB" in Config menu of ISP_Tool
Select the “Read” menu and select the target firmware
Click “Connect” button. If connection is correct, Device Type. If not, please click Dis Con button then Connect button again.
Select ‘Auto” menu and ensure all selections match as below. Click Run.
Check to see if programming complete. PASS
If you have issues after update, check video cable. I have one that wasn’t getting signal after firmware update. Monitor would stay blacked out until a working video cable was installed. Swapped cables around during troubleshooting to confirm issue and monitor it works fine with new cable and other cables in cabinet.
