Either upgrade the controller first or disconnect it from the network so it cannot communicate with the games. If the games are powered on with the new anoftware software and the controller has not been updated, there will be info sent to the controller it is NOT setup handle, causing it to crash the database. |

If you plug the USB with the install files into your laptop you should see up to three folders and a txt
file. Do not add any additional files to the USB, it will cause the install to fail. It may have less folders but not more.
Plug the Sales Order USB, containing the TechAssist folders and instructions, into one of the USB ports on the controller. The process will automatically start.
When the process starts the BD-ROM Drive will show the GameServer Version being installed. On the desktop you will see the old software being uninstalled, the icons will disappear then reappear
TechAssist will finish installing the game server software and move on to install the LCI Kits.
When the process is done the USB will be automatically ejected and its name will change to “Removable Disk” or it will disappear from the screen depending on the controller.
With the server software installed the games need to be setup to talk to the server. If game setup is already completed, reboot the cabinet through the game’s control menu to send the game’s config to the server.
