The following steps need to be performed on a yearly basis

  • Replace Video Card Fan - (if not recently replaced)

  • Replace 2032 Cmos Battery (tech to purchase so we know the battery is new)

    • when replaceing the battery you will need a keyboard on boot up to press F1 or F2 to continue to boot up.

    • Once logged back into the controller you will need to confirm it has the correct: date, time, timezone.

  • Clean table controller of dust and debris

  • Add power button if not already installed

  • Check to ensure

    • Sensors work

    • Touch Screen works

  • Set CPU Fan to 100%

Do to the amount of heat the Table Controller generates we need to set the CPU fan speed to max which pulls the hot air out of the controller and drops the temp by 20 to 25 degrees.

Make sure to use a wired keyboard for this update. Wireless may not allow you to get into the bios.

  1. With the controller powered off

  2. Connect Keyboard to the controller and power on.

  3. Hold the delete key while the controller is powering on.

  4. In the BIOS use the arrow keys to navigate to the Advanced tab.

  5. Arrow down to HW Monitor and press Enter on the keyboard.

  6. In the HW Monitor menu press Enter again and arrow down to select Full Speedand press Enter.

  7. Press F4 to Save and Exit
