The LCD receives power from the Power IO and the Libre receives power from a power brick. '
It cannot be powered by a USB(A) to Micro USB as it does not have the correct amperage rating.
Raspberry Pi
The LCD topper is run by the Raspberry Pi - part number C020838
The LCD receives power from the Power IO and the Raspberry receives power from a power brick, or a Micro USB cable plugged into the blue USB 3.0 ports inside the logic box on the motherboard.
Loading Content to the Raspberry or Libre Media Player
Format a USB stick FAT32 (does not work as exFat) Best to use a 32 gig stick or less.
Create a folder on the usb labled “media”
Load only one digital content file into the media folder. The name of the file cannot contain any spaces.
With the power Unplugged to the Player, insert the USB and apply power.
The content will auto load. Watch the screen, it will tell you to when to remove the USB (Raspberri) or the video content will start playing (Libre) .
