Overview
The AGS Roulette Signage is a graphical display for the Roulette table game play that can be used with any standard Roulette wheel. Functioning as an information hub, it displays game information and computer graphics.
Basic Game Play
Game play begins when the roulette wheel is spun. The ball is then put in play by the dealer and an animation plays that wishes the payers good luck. After the ball has slowed down to a pre- configured rate, and animation plays that indicates no more bets are allowed. Once the ball lands on a winning number, it is read by a reader head on the Roulette wheel. The winning number is displayed in the game history column of the graphics display, and then a series of game statistics are display. The game statistics show which play areas on the table are winners, as well as display odds and hot numbers.

This section describes how to install the components of the AGS Roulette Signage. The components may include:
GPH81E Logic Module (with power supply)
LCD display (with power supply and mini display cable)
Display mounting plate (with screws)
Display extension tubes
10-buton USB keypad

The Logic Module is typically mounted to the underside of the Roulette table with the supplied mounting screws. It is recommended to mount the controller to the underside of the table to keep people from kicking the controller and or pulling the cables out. Figure below shows the logic module mounting measurements.
To install the Logic Module

Mark the location of the holes.
Partially install the screws into the holes.
Set the unit on the screws.
Tighten the screws to secure the unit to the table.
It’s recommended to mount controller near the double-sided monitor. The mounting position should be determined during the Site Survey.

Mark and cut a 1.5-inch hole through the table at the desired mounting location.
Position the pole stand over the 1.5 inch hole.
Mark the hole positions for all the mounting screws.
Using the marks as a guide, drill small pilot holes for the screws.
Attach the telescoping tube to the bottom of the LCD display. The end of the tube is
threaded and screws into the bottom of the display.
Attach the Pole Stand to the bottom of the telescoping tube.
With a second person assistance. Run the display’s cables through the hole and secure the
display to the table with the screws that are provided.
When tightening the Telescoping pole, you may need to add a small amount of grease to the
threads.
Connecting the Keypad
The Keypad is connected to the Controller PC through the USB port. Ensure there are no obstructions when installing the wire for maximum length.
Grounding
Attach the grounding wire from the display and connect it to the ground stud on the power supply.
Attach the grounding wire of the power supply to one of the screws on the controller.
Powering on the Logic Module
The Logic Module is powered by simply connecting its power supply cord. It does have a small black power button in the center of the controller. The controller is set to power on when power is applied. In the even it does not start right away, press the power button.
Turning off the Logic Module
Disconnect the power cord from the Logic Module or unplugged the power cord from the outlet.

California (CA Style) Roulette
When configured in the Settings menu, CA style Roulette will allow the sign software to operate differently from traditional. Instead of game outcomes being sent by a ball reader automatically, for CA style games where Cards determine game outcomes, dealers will need to manually enter results into the sign with the Keypad.
Enabling this setting will allow Casino’s to use a custom branded background image for the sign, rather than the Roulette Wheel animations with the running Ball avatar.
This setting will also allow for Triple Zero (000) to be enabled for Manual Entry (Traditional roulette only supports Single Zero (0) or Double Zero (00) wheels). Enabling Triple Zero is done in the Layout menu, but this option is only enabled when the sign is set to CA Layout in the Settings menu.
CA Layout will allow Manual Entry to be done for results without prompting for authorization for each entry. Once set to CA style and the Triple Zero option enabled (if needed), users can go into the Manual Entry menu:
Pressing “3” to Add Result, then pressing “Ent” to enter the results window will clear the menu and allow for results to be entered.
Users will enter the keypad number for the result outcome of the game, then press “Ent” to push the result to the sign. Pressing “Ent” again will start a countdown timer on the sign showing players how long they have left to place bets for the next round. Pressing “Ent” again while the timer is counting down, will reset the timer back to its starting time and will restart the countdown. This can be done to allow players more time to place wagers if they need.
