PM Parts

The following items need to be replaced or added per table.

  • C40-00300 - Video Card Fan

  • C080031 - CMOS Battery 2032

  • C40-00324 - Power Button

  • C101277 - UPS Battery

  • C002205 - Hardware kit w/straps (if needed to clean up cable management)

Required Tools:

These should be part of the Standard Tech tool kit.

  • Philip Screwdriver - 261 / PH0 x 50

  • Philip Screwdriver - 261 / PH1 x 60

  • Plate Head Screwdriver - 0.4 x 2.5 x 75 320N

  • USB Keyboard

  • Compressed Air Blower vacuum

  • Scott Shop Towels


The following steps need to be performed on a yearly basis

PM Steps

  • Replace Video Card Fan - (if not recently replaced)

  • Replace 2032 CMOS Battery C080031

    • Before you remove the battery, make sure to take note of the battery’s orientation so you know which way to install in the new one.

  • Clean table controller of dust and debris

  • Clean up / manage cabling.

  • Add power button if not already installed

Remove the lid to the controller. Plug the power button on the two pins 1 & 2 with the button secure to the front of the controller.

If the site is good with it you can run the the power button out the side of the controller so you have access to it when the controller is locked / sealed.

  • Replace UPS Battery - C101277

  • Check to ensure

    • Sensors work

    • Touch Screen works

  • BIOS Setup

    • Go to BIOS Setup after replaced the CMOS battery.

      • Press and hold the Delete key to get in into the BIOS Setup

        • Confirm with the correct: date, time, timezone

      • Go to ‘Advanced’ tap to increase the HW ‘Fan Speed’

Do to the amount of heat the Table Controller generates we need to set the CPU fan speed to max which pulls the hot air out of the controller and drops the temp by 20 to 25 degrees.

Make sure to use a wired keyboard for this update. Wireless may not allow you to get into the bios.

  1. With the controller powered off

  2. Connect Keyboard to the controller and power on.

  3. Hold the delete key while the controller is powering on.

  4. In the BIOS use the arrow keys to navigate to the Advanced tab.

  5. Arrow down to HW Monitor and press Enter on the keyboard.

  6. In the HW Monitor menu press Enter again and arrow down to select Full Speedand press Enter.

  7. Press F4 to Save and Exit
