HHR Field Service Setup Guide

HHR_3D Initial Configuration Procedure (with edits from field service.)

Ensure the required connections are established prior to following the configuration procedure 

• Active network connection between cabinet and HHR server (100% needed)

• Active SAS connection to the cabinet (eh, not really needed from my limited experience)

Initial configuration instruction procedure: 

1. Install the SSD and Insert RAM Clear CF into the System CF slot and turn the cabinet On 

2. The game will run through RAM Clear steps and the display will turn off after its complete

   1. The CPU fans will stop on 2015 motherboard cabinets.

   2. Spectra Cabinet (if used) the screen will go blank and there’s no other indicator.

3. Turn the cabinet Off, remove the RAM Clear CF, insert the System CF and turn the cabinet On.

4. Read all of 4a and 4b before doing anything. Game will load to a Server Configuration screen, in the address bar, enter the HHR Server URL and press Connect to URL.

   1. The install at Wonder Casino (20.2.3) in New Hampshire auto loaded the URL address at boot as long as it was connected to the server.

   2. If it does not connect, press Test and then Connection Diagnostics. The diagnostics screen will show you the IP address, date and time. If the IP address is 169.###.###.### it is not connect to the server network. If the IP address is correct, exiting back to the URL screen should populate the Exacta server URL address.

5. On the Game Configuration screen, enable the denomination and select the desired payout and press Done  : Please refer to the Game PAR sheet to set the correct desired hold configuration.  For example, setting 90% configuration is not actually 10% hold, it is less due to progressives. To give a little more info on this, as it gets confusing to hear, HHR doesn’t have progressives. “There is more of a shared prize pool that the games/levels pull from. So the top prize my fluctuate up and down depending on what prize was recently won.” This is what the casino people who were helping us set the games up told us.

6. Open Main door and Logic door and continue through remaining configuration 

7. On the Configuration Setup menu, press Machine Settings  

8. Press Machine Configuration, set the desired settings, press Save and then Back 

9. Please ensure the Machine Number is unique for the Exacta system.

   1. Press SAS Settings, configure SAS settings as desired by the customer, press Save and then Back 

   2. Press Credit Limits, verify limits, press Save and then Back 

   3. Press Bill Limits, verify limits, press Save and then Back 

   4. Press Server Settings, press Save and then Back (no idea why this is in here)

   5. Press Back to go back to the Configuration Setup screen 

   6. Press Time Settings, verify/set current date and time (24hrs format), and press Save and then Back 

   7. Press Finish Configuration 

10. Close Main door and Logic door 

11. The game screen will load once all configuration is set and all necessary connections are established
