PAX SSD Erasing

This only needs to be done if downgrading software version to a lower version.

DEV software and a serial to usb cable is needed along putty config on your laptop. See Software engineering for cable.

Plug the serial cable into the shuffler and the usb into your laptop.

On your laptop go to Device Manager to see what port the serial connection is using:

Determine Shuffler’s IP Address & Establish Connection

After establishing connection, hit enter to bring the login prompt:

Login to connection with username: debian | Password: Boundary (case-sensitive) (password will appear blank while typing, hit enter when finished). List the shuffler’s IP address using the command: ifconfig -a

Once you the IP Address, you could reconnect over network (connecting through Putty with IP address... or you could just continue over serial.

Either way, you take these steps:

When the SSD erase is complete unplug the serial cable from the shuffler and reboot. The shuffler will need to be completely setup.
