PAX Brake Roller Washer Update

Shufflers prior to serial number S200679 will have the old-style washers and will need the updated washers installed. Any shuffler S200679 and newer should have been updated in production when built.

This update is replacing the old-style oval washers with a round thicker washer.

This update fixes the issue by adjusting the brake roller to the correct adjustment.

 Please order washers P/N C40-00470, there are two washers per shuffler. If the shufflers have an aluminum brake roller the pink shim is needed to make the adjustment P/N C40-00415

The washers holding the brake roller assembly will need to be replaced. Remove the two 2.5mm screws holding the brake roller assembly, that’s the screws to make the brake roller adjustment. Remove the oval washers, sometimes the washers will be stuck in the hole. If the hole is damaged replace the Frame, Infeed Bridge Block P/N C40-00016.  Install the new washers and reinstall the brake roller assembly. Make sure the brake roller is installed and spinning the correct way.  Make sure to adjust the brake roller correctly if using the aluminum brake roller, the pink shim is needed if using the urethane roller do not use the pink shim and use two cards to make the adjustment.
