PAXs Card Guide Tech Bulletin

Issue found:

The errors will be aborting the shuffle or leaving one or more cards in the infeed tray while showing incorrect deck composition. This issue will be isolated to games with community cards.

Resolved by:

An adjustment made to the card gap in the card guides at the exit rollers on the left and right sides of the shuffler. All shufflers at the location should be updated so the PAX shufflers could be moved to any game.

Use a clamp to hold the shuttle at the top when tightening the belt clamp and adjusting the card guides. Before making any adjustments make sure the shuttle belt clamp is tight.

Use the white plastic .25” shim to set the clearance.

Loosen the four 2.5mm screws.

With the white shim sticking out hold the top and bottom card guides together while keeping the shim centered with the calibration mark and tighten the four 2.5mm screws. Repeat the adjustment for the guides on the other side.
