MEI in game programming

1. Open the Cashflow STS download application on your computer desktop.

2. If it comes up and asks for user/password, put user: admin and hit enter with no password.

3. Connect a standard USB A-B cable from any of your computers USB ports to MEI front port USB port. Once you connect, the Read button on app should light up in color as illustrated below. If it is not in color and just grayed out you are not connected. Check USB connection. Once you are connected, click on the Open button and browse for the appropriate firmware file to download.

4. Find the necessary firmware and open it. In this example we will select the 66Y520198223 firmware. This is the most current firmware approved for the MEI at AGS.

5. Once you have opened the correct firmware file, click on the write button as illustrated below.

6. Click OK

7. Download will start with progress indicator as shown below.

8. Once the Write Complete screen below comes up, wait for it to go away before unplugging any cables.

9. After download, and you unplug your USB from the MEI, the unit will cycle and should come up with a green flashing LED. Flash complete.
