Unable to Remote into the DS

 Problem

Unable to RDP (remote) into the Digital Sign

 Solution

If the progressive controller shows the sign controller in DHCP management but you are unable to RDP into the sign controller via the pc name or the IP address, follow the steps below:

  1. Delete the game from DHCP management

  2. Power cycle the sign controller

  3. Check the new IP address in DHCP management and RDP into the new IP address.

If this didn’t fix the issue, connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor and check if the firewall is enabled.

 

If the controller pulls an IP Address below 10.0.8.10 it will not show up in DHCP management.
