TechAssist 4.2.2 Manual Update

You must manually install TechAssist to 4.2.2 if you receive it.

This affects both sign controllers and progressive controllers.

 

All Sales Order USBs recently shipped with TechAssistUpdater 4.2.2 packaged in them will fail if you do not manually install TA 4.2.2 first.

There are two USBs shipped with each order.

  • One is the Progressive Controller, Sign Controller, and TechAssistUpdater Software.

  • The other is the latest version of TechAssist.

You must install the latest version of TechAssist provided with the software shipment or the Software install will auto eject and install nothing.

If 4.2.2 TA is preinstalled, then the issue with the Sales Order USB will not happen.  It is only an issue with Controllers that are not currently running 4.2.2


Written Instruction:

  1. Navigate to the USB

  2. double click on the TechAssist 4.2.2

  3. click next on any prompt until you see finished.

  4. Finished
