Serial number doesn’t match from last reboot, is empty or is just wrong.

 

Class 3:

  • This randomly happened on a cabinet. Check smartID and refresh. Reseat logic. Then reboot.

  • Saw this happen on Spectra Cabinets when a customer was running 21.2 instead of 23.1 which is the lowest version approved for the cabinet.

  • Replace logic

This error also shows up if there is a short in the cabinet. Disconnect all cables not needed to boot the cabinet and see if the error goes away. As of 8/10/2023 we have had two bad candles or candle wires cause this error.

Class 2: If serial number is correct and the error wont go away it requires a ramclear.

 


Ran Into this in the Vegas Lab. The backplane was programmed correctly but the Smart ID menu showed the description to be Genesis on an Orion Curve cabinet.

Solution was to replace the logic.
